At Barley Nectar we host whisky events for a wide range of clients.

Whisky is a fascinating topic. We aim to share our passion with our guests, hopefully in as unstuffy a manner as possible.
Our events vary from small boutique tastings through to large events with membership clubs, corporate clients and even cruise ships.

PRIVATE CASK OWNERSHIP & WAREHOUSING
BUYING A CASK
Our team helps in the full life cycle of whisky cask ownership.
This includes finding the right cask at the best price point, transfer of ownership, storage, sampling, and then support in either selling the whisky on, or else in bottling.

We work both as a wholesaler and a broker, allowing us to access the best casks at the best price.

SELLING A CASK
Our team are always on the hunt for interesting casks, either to hold and bottle, or else for our network of cask owners.
For mature casks we typically ask for a sample and a recent regauge to ensure we’re able to give an accurate quote. We follow a rigorous due diligence process for both businesses we buy from, and clients we sell to.

WAREHOUSING
due to become fully operational in early 2024, We have a bonded warehouse situated in roy bridge, Lochaber.

we're aimed firmly at the private ownership market. we offer visiting clients the option to check on their cask and even to draw out their own samples.

The warehouse site is just off the picturesque west highland way, and sits alongside our sister business - the glen spean brewing company.
